Because we understand the unique needs of both boat and dock owners, we developed a comprehensive, user-friendly boat slip classifieds website to quickly and easily connect boaters looking for boat slip space with marinas and private boat dock owners seeking to rent or sell their boat slips or boat docks to responsible boat owners.
How do I search for a boat slip for rent or boat slip for sale?
It is FREE to search our database to locate available boat slips. Click the Find a Boat Slip page to begin your search. You may click any state on the U.S. map to retrieve all boat dock listings in that state, or you may use the search criteria below the map to retrieve boat slip listings based solely on your boat’s needs and your personal preferences. By selecting any combination of categories for your boat dock search, your search results will be targeted to your specific criteria, saving you time when searching for the perfect boat slip for rent or sale.
How do I list my boat dock for sale or rent?
Listing a boat dock for sale or rent on My Port of Call is easy and inexpensive. Simply click List a Boat Slip and complete the boat slip listing form, including your contact information so that prospects may contact you directly to inquire about renting or purchasing your boat dock. Click “Continue” at the bottom of the screen and you will be prompted to upload images of your boat dock and, if you choose either a basic or featured paid listing, your payment information. After you complete your listing, your boat slip will be immediately exposed to boaters across the world looking for boat slip or boat dockage space. How do I upload pictures of my dock?
After completing your information on the listing form, click “Continue” at the bottom of the screen and you will be prompted to upload images of your boat dock. If you select a free 30-day listing, you may upload one image. If you choose either either a basic or a featured paid listing, you may upload up to four images.
What do I do if my boat dock pictures will not upload?
If your boat dock pictures will not upload, the most likely cause is that the size of photo is too large. Website photos have size restrictions due to page loading time. Simply use your photo editing software to create a small or thumbnail size image and attempt to upload the photo again.
What forms of payment are accepted for my boat slip listing?
We accept payment for your boat slip listings and other products via Paypal, Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
Do I need a Paypal account to purchase a boat dock listing?
No, you do not need a Paypal account to purchase a boat dock listing. We also accept credit card payments via Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
What is the difference between a free 30-day listing, a basic boat slip listing and a featured boat slip listing?
If you are new to MyPortOfCall.com, you may place a free 30-day listing in our boat slip listing database. Your free listing will appear below the paid basic and featured listings in the search results. With a free listing, you may only upload one image to appear in your boat slip ad. Our basic and featured listings are paid listings. A basic boat dock listing appears just below the featured listings and above the free listings in the search results. With a basic listing, you may upload up to four images of your boat dock. A featured boat slip listing provides maximum exposure for your ad by highlighting your listing in blue above both basic and free listings in search results.
How much does it cost to place a boat slip listing on My Port of Call?
A free 30 day listing is, well, free. A basic boat slip listing is $19.97 per month, and a featured boat slip listing is $39.97 per month. Your credit card will be charged automatically each month until you cancel your listing.
How long will my boat slip listing appear?
A free listing expires after 30 days. With basic and featured paid listings, your ad will appear continuously until you cancel your listing.
How do I edit my boat slip listing?
After you complete and purchase your boat slip listing, you will receive an access code that will allow you to edit your listing at any time before it expires or until you cancel. Therefore, it is very important that you provide us with a working email address to obtain your access code. To edit your boat slip listing, click on the List a Boat Slip page and then click Edit My Existing Listing at the top of the page. You will be prompted to enter your email address and access code to edit your boat slip listing.
How do I delete my boat slip listing once my boat slip is rented or sold?
If you would like to delete your boat slip listing, please contact us and we will delete the listing for you.
What do I do if I am interested in renting or purchasing a boat dock in the database?
If you are interested in an available boat dock advertised in our database, please contact the owner directly. Each boat slip listing contains an email link, phone number and other contact information for the boat slip owner.
